The Gaza Flotilla

Background

There are a number of dimensions of the Gaza Flotilla event for which we can explore Torah code tables. The first area we explore is dominated by the name of the event. In English it would be called Gaza Flotilla. If one examines the first dictionary definition of flotilla, it is a fleet of typically small naval vessels, two or more squadrons moving in some coordinated activity. The second meaning is that of a group moving together, with no requirement that the group have anything to do with boats or ships. The Hebrew word for the first meaning of flotilla is שייטת. However, in Hebrew the exclusive meaning of שייטת is that of a military naval flotilla. The Hebrew word in current useage for a flotilla of ships as the Gaza flotilla is משט. If we were to translate the word משט to English, the translation would be the sail, in the sense of the sail toward or the sailing toward. Indeed the phrase used in the Hebrew newspapers for Gaza flotilla is משט לעזה, literally the sail to Gaza. So our first group of Torah code tables is built around the phrase משט לעזה, sail to Gaza.

The experimental setup is shown in the possibility table below.

This is the table of possiblities among which the first flotilla Torah code experiment searched.
We show the Torah code tables in the order of most statistically significant to least significant. The tables shown here cover four different areas in the Torah. The extent of each table is given in the table description.
flotillaF_1.png
The search produced a cylinder size of 22 columns. With expected number of ELSs set to 50, the probability that a text from the ELS random placement text population would have as compact a table as that produced by the Torah text is 2.5/10,000. This table is on a small cylinder size of 22 columns so the linear extent of the table is small, from Leviticus Chapter 9 verses 12 through 22.
flotilla2_1.png
The search produced a cylinder size of 31,232 columns. With expected number of ELSs set to 50, the probability that a text from the ELS random placement text population would have as compact a table as that produced by the Torah text is 38.5/100,000. This table is on a large cylinder size of 31,232 columns so the linear extent of the table is large, from Exodus Chapter 12 verse 48 through Deuteronomy Chapter 22 verse 2.
flotillaF_2.png
The search produced a cylinder size of 6,835 columns. With expected number of ELSs set to 50, the probability that a text from the ELS random placement text population would have as compact a table as that produced by the Torah text is 6.5/10,000. This table is on a large cylinder size of 6,835 columns so the linear extent of the table is large, from Genesis Chapter 4 verse 14 through Leviticus Chapter 14 verse 13.
flotillaF_3.png
The search produced a cylinder size of 31,232 columns. With expected number of ELSs set to 50, the probability that a text from the ELS random placement text population would have as compact a table as that produced by the Torah text is 6.5/10,000. This table is on a large cylinder size of 31,232 columns so the linear extent of the table is large, from Exodus Chapter 12 verse 48 through Deuteronomy Chapter 22 verse 2.
flotillaF_4.png
The search produced a cylinder size of 22 columns. With expected number of ELSs set to 50, the probability that a text from the ELS random placement text population would have as compact a table as that produced by the Torah text is 10.5/10,000. This table is on a small cylinder size of 22 columns so the linear extent of the table is small, from Leviticus Chapter 9 verses 12 through 18.
flotillaF_5.png
The search produced a cylinder size of 6,833 columns. With expected number of ELSs set to 50, the probability that a text from the ELS random placement text population would have as compact a table as that produced by the Torah text is 11.5/10,000. This table is on a large cylinder size of 6,833 columns so the linear extent of the table is large, from Genesis Chapter 4 verse 14 through Leviticus Chapter 17 verse 13.
flotillaF_6.png
The search produced a cylinder size of 6834 columns. With expected number of ELSs set to 50, the probability that a text from the ELS random placement text population would have as compact a table as that produced by the Torah text is 12.5/10,000. This table is on a large cylinder size of 6,834 columns so the linear extent of the table is large, from Genesis Chapter 1 verse 14 through Leviticus Chapter 14 verse 13.
flotillaF_7.png
The search produced a cylinder size of 6835 columns. With expected number of ELSs set to 50, the probability that a text from the ELS random placement text population would have as compact a table as that produced by the Torah text is 14.5/10,000. This table is on a large cylinder size of 6,835 columns so the linear extent of the table is large, from Genesis Chapter 1 verse 14 through Leviticus Chapter 14 verse 13.
flotillaF_8.png
The search produced a cylinder size of 31,232 columns. With expected number of ELSs set to 50, the probability that a text from the ELS random placement text population would have as compact a table as that produced by the Torah text is 17.5/10,000. This table is on a large cylinder size of 31,232 columns so the linear extent of the table is large, from Exodus Chapter 12 verse 48 through Deuteronomy Chapter 22 verse 2.
flotillaF_9.png
The search produced a cylinder size of 6,834 columns. With expected number of ELSs set to 50, the probability that a text from the ELS random placement text population would have as compact a table as that produced by the Torah text is 24/10,000. This table is on a large cylinder size of 6,834 columns so the linear extent of the table is large, from Genesis Chapter 4 verse 14 through Leviticus Chapter 22 verse 22.
flotillaF_10.png
The search produced a cylinder size of 6,833 columns. With expected number of ELSs set to 50, the probability that a text from the ELS random placement text population would have as compact a table as that produced by the Torah text is 26/10,000. This table is on a large cylinder size of 6,833 columns so the linear extent of the table is large, from Genesis Chapter 4 verse 14 through Leviticus Chapter 17 verse 13.
